Purpose Vs. Goals

Have you been told that you need to find your purpose? We think that purpose has a lot to do with your goals, and achieving your goals. If you live truly to your values then you can find purpose in everyday of your life. You might find 5 (Empathy, kindness, gratitude, mindfulness or responsibility). Go wild. If you’re living by those values, and doing things on a daily and weekly basis, you’ll feel purpose everyday. The key is to uncover what’s really important to you.

You don’t need to set goals and achieve goals to feel purpose, you need to develop values and you’ll find purpose in everyday life.

“Good values are like a magnet – they attract good people.” - John Wooden

Purpose VS Goals; The difference between

Goal can be called as the point one wishes to achieve. On the other hand, purpose can be called the reason one aims to achieve a goal. Unlike purposes, goals always go forward in a specific direction. Purpose, which is all about direction, is something that influences goals.

Your Vision and Goals Drive Your Life Forward

Why Goal Alignment Is Paramount

  1. You need the vision to provide a guiding light for your life’s path.

  2. Next, you must break that vision into its components to define the milestones that will take you there.

  3. The goals are not theoretical; instead, they require action.

  4. Your values define the limits of what you would and would not do.

So, to chase your vision and dreams, you must act. But your actions are conditioned by your values.
